In between Seaview and Maitland is an area called Beachview. Like Seaview it's technically a suburb of Port Elizabeth and made up of a collection of houses close to the coastline. I often think that the person who came up with the name (and that of Seaview) really wasn't having a very inspirational day when they did. The Seaview / Beachview coastline is a rugged one but the advantage of that is all the coves and gullies which is safe for families to enjoy at low tide. By the time I took the picture the tide had come in and we were ready to leave.
