Hobie beach sunrise

One of the compensations for doing the last neighbourhood watch patrol, is going down to the beach front to catch the sunrise and just enjoy the atmosphere. These two fishermen are getting ready to launch their rubber duck from Hobie Beach.

  1. Oh my gosh. Now that is one absolutely awesome photo. What a golden atmosphere. There is a Afrikaans saying: "Die môrestond het goud in die mond."

  2. What a fabulous shot! Perfectly exposed to capture that wonderful early morning haziness and silhouette the fishermen. Seeing as Firefly started, here's a poetry quote that leaps to mind from Robert Frost: "Nature's first green is gold, her hardest hue to hold"

  3. What a great picture. It's nice to know there are places in the world not covered in snow.
